Tejashri comes to UrbanWorks with a prior career in India where she managed architectural project details for higher educational institutions, international camp sites and custom designed weekend homes. As a member of the design team, Tej problem-solves, develops construction details, and produces 3-dimensional views during design development.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from University of Pune, India and Master’s in Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Her final research project finds an architectural solution for the problem of food deserts on south side of Chicago.

Tej is a well-travelled, curious explorer and brings an international sensibility to her design projects. She values teamwork and thinking critically about the design process from beginning to end. Outside of the office, Tej enjoys making pottery.
