Jose is an integral member of the UrbanWorks design team, offering a keen aesthetic eye to firm’s projects. He has collaborated on a wide range of architectural, interior and planning projects including exterior designs for mixed-use affordable housing and neighborhood development zone plans. Jose’s responsibilities include design and construction documentation, as well as graphic production.
He has earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree with a specialization in Landscape Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
Jose’s interdisciplinary interests in both landscape architecture and the fine arts greatly influence his design sensibilities. In his spare time, he explores architecture within the city using digital photography to capture how buildings are affected by their natural surroundings. Outside of the office, Jose sketches, paints in acrylic, and graphically designs decorations for festive occasions.
