TBD 		UrbanWorks planned both the BMX course and Velodrome for a site in Chicago’s historic Douglas Park on the city’s west side. The BMW facility would have been a 10,000-seat temporary, outdoor facility. The Velodrome would have seated 6,000 spectators under a soaring vaulted roof during the games. Located between the existing field house and a school, the permanent structure was designed to become a multi-purpose indoor sports hall that would have been shared by the school and the local community.
