The five-time award winning Veterans Memorial Campus for Acero Schools stacks two elementary and one high school on separate floors of a former industrial bakery. Completed in 2008, the LEED Gold, 175,000 SF structure features dramatically glazed building volumes that harvest sunlight throughout the facility, with multi-functional communal spaces that provide areas for the local community during off-school hours.
