Daniela Paez Castro joined UrbanWorks as an Architectural Associate in 2025. Her background in Landscape Architecture and Architecture brings a valuable skill set to the firm. She has a specialized interest in the relationship between human behavior and architectural space—how space can shape experience and a ‘sense of place’. Daniela is passionate about designing environments that support meaningful engagement and improve everyday life.
Daniela earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University and a Master in Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While a student, she served as teaching assistant and mentor, fostering her enduring interest in collaboration and design education.
Outside the office, Daniela enjoys reading, hands-on creative work, attending live music events, and spending time with loved ones.
