Working hand in hand with key community stakeholders, UrbanWorks recently led the planning for the 441-acre Armitage Industrial Corridor Plan for the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development. With market research and planning assistance from SB Friedman and @ecovidaldesign, the resulting plan creates a formal land use framework that will strengthen the corridor as a vital job center, enhance its character and history, improve infrastructure and mobility, and facilitate communication between businesses and the surrounding Austin, Montclare, and Belmont Cragin community areas.
