Hub 07
Designed through through a neighbor-led process, HUB 07 forms the physical heart of UrbanWorks’ master plan for the Boston Square community in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The new two-story glass and metal building will serve as the front porch and living room for the Boston Square neighborhood. A light-filled double-height living area forms the heart of the project and offers the community co-working spaces, a café, a variety of seating options, and a fireplace. Local entrepreneurs can occupy white box spaces within the building to launch and grow their new businesses. An early learning center provides classrooms and play spaces for 80+ children. The building is designed to achieve WELL certification.
