Samdrup Sanmuzhou comes to UrbanWorks as an Architectural Associate after recently completing his studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Originally from Tibet, he is passionate about the intersection of architecture, regional cultures, and materials. His previous experience includes work as an Architectural Designer and Intern at several firms, both in the US and abroad.
As a student, Samdrup was on the Dean’s List, was president of the International Student Organization, and received both the International Scholarship from IIT and the Weiming Scholarship from China.
Sanmuzhou earned a BA and MS in Architecture from the IIT School of Architecture.
