Maria Hidalgo comes to UrbanWorks as an Architectural Intern who recently completed her studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior experience includes stints at several consulting firms and as a project manager helping clients expedite building permits.
As an undergraduate student working towards an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science – Architectural Drafting at Harold Washington College, Maria reinstated the school’s Architecture Club and led fellow students to explore outside the confines of academia by travel to different communities in Chicago and out of the state. The group hosted its first architecture career fair under her leadership.
Hidalgo earned a BAC in Architecture and ME in Construction Engineering and Management through IIT’s co-terminal program.
