Just announced! UrbanWorks’ Wood Street Urban Farm Expansion for Growing Home, Inc. was awarded a $5 million grant as part of Mayor Johnson’s first round of summer 2024 Community Development Grants for the City of Chicago. The 76,784 SF USDA-certified produce processing facility will also include a retail store, café, teaching and commercial kitchen, and community classrooms.
