This past month, work by UrbanWorks’ Founding Principal and IIT Adjunct Professor Patricia Saldaña Natke, Design Director Maria Pellot, Architectural Associate and IIT Alumna Sofia Linares, and Consulting Architectural Associate and IIT Alumna Isabella Holguin was featured in 1X1 Chicago: Celebrating Women in Architecture. This exhibit builds upon the International Archive of Women in Architecture (@iawa_vt) Center’s “1×1 initiative,” whose mission is to collect and preserve one drawing by every female architect in the world. The month-long exhibition and series of weekly events is being hosted by @iitarchitecture in S. R. Crown Hall.
