Roseland Medical Center
Located across the street from Roseland Community Hospital, this two-story-tall, 27,000-square-feet medical office building houses facilities for the hospital’s outpatient care, Chicago Family Health, and Frensenius Medical Care. The building’s red brick façade is punctuated by metal panels and sun screens that provide a scale harmonious with the residential neighborhood.
The main entrance to the center is directly from the sidewalk, although easily accessible from the parking lot as well. Ground floor retail space helps integrate the facility into the Roseland neighborhood while providing new economic opportunity. The project has served, as intended, as a catalyst for future development. A new emergency wing for the hospital and streetscape improvements along 111th Street have been positive physical improvements planned in its wake.
